Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of specialised courses offered by novelito that focus on live production decks and control rooms. These include training in multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. The policy covers both individual course bookings and any bundled packages sold through our commercial website. It governs transactions made by consumers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed and under what circumstances refunds may be issued.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices displayed on the website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Course fees are inclusive of value added tax at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for optional extras such as printed materials or extended access periods. novelito reserves the right to adjust prices to reflect changes in taxation or operational costs, but any increase will not affect bookings already confirmed. Customers are responsible for any bank or currency conversion fees incurred when making payment from outside the UK.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept payments via major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved third-party processors that comply with UK financial regulations. Payment authorisation occurs at the time of booking. All transactions are secured using industry-standard encryption protocols. novelito does not store full card details. In the event of a payment failure due to insufficient funds or incorrect details, the booking will not be confirmed until a successful payment is received.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A binding contract is formed once novelito sends a written confirmation email following receipt of full payment. This confirmation outlines the course details, start date, and access credentials where applicable. Until this confirmation is issued, no contract exists and any provisional booking may be cancelled without penalty. Customers should retain the confirmation email as proof of purchase.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers in the United Kingdom have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking confirmation during which they may cancel without providing a reason. This right does not apply once course materials have been accessed or the service has begun. For digital content, the right to cancel is lost upon commencement of download or streaming. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@nfts.co.uk.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available for cancellations within the cooling-off period provided no course access has occurred. Full refunds are also issued if novelito cancels a course due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds are provided for partial attendance, change of mind after the cooling-off period, or failure to meet technical requirements on the customer side. Promotional or discounted bookings may carry different refund terms stated at the time of purchase.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund, contact info@nfts.co.uk with the subject line Refund Request followed by the booking reference. Include the full name on the booking, date of purchase, course title, and a clear statement of the reason. Supporting documents such as the confirmation email should be attached. Requests received without complete information will be returned for completion, which may delay processing.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Upon receipt of a complete request, novelito will inspect the booking record within five working days. Approval is granted if eligibility criteria are met. Rejection occurs where the request falls outside policy terms, such as late submission or prior access to materials. Customers receive written notification of the decision via email, including reasons for any rejection and details of any appeal process available under UK consumer law.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, though bank processing times may extend this to fourteen days. Customers using third-party payment services should allow additional time for funds to appear. novelito bears no liability for delays caused by external financial institutions.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital course content is subject to immediate access upon payment confirmation. Once access is granted, the right to cancel is lost even within the cooling-off period. Subscription-based extensions or recurring payments may be cancelled at any time but refunds are limited to unused future periods. Promotional offers are non-refundable once redeemed unless the entire booking qualifies under standard cancellation rules.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments must be resolved within seven days to secure the booking. Duplicate charges detected by our system are automatically investigated and credited where verified. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of access pending resolution. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account review and reporting to relevant UK authorities where necessary.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

This policy does not affect statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR. Customers retain the right to remedies for services not of satisfactory quality or not as described. Nothing in this policy limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
