novelito is a UK training provider for live production decks and control rooms, focused on multi-camera switching, live broadcasting and professional management of television and streaming productions.

Our story

Made by people who work in live television.

novelito began when a group of working vision mixers, directors and technical directors noticed the same gap: newcomers could read about live production, but had few chances to sit at a real desk and take a show to air.

Today we run small-group courses where every learner gets real time on the controls. We teach the craft of switching a live show, directing multiple cameras and managing a production team, whether the output is a broadcast channel, a corporate event or a live stream.

How we teach

From first cut to full show.

Courses begin with signal flow and desk layout, move through guided practice on short programmes, and end with a full live run-through where learners take turns directing, mixing and operating. Tutors give feedback in the moment, the same way a senior colleague would on a real show.

We also offer bespoke programmes for broadcasters, venues, universities and in-house video teams who want to train a whole crew together.
